ALP230 Main Application

 

ALP230 is an integrated mobile degasser driven by battery with controllable speed and auto-lift. External power connection is only needed when degassing, The built-in battery type of drive makes it convenient for the system to be moved safely to any degassing positions in the workshop. Wide range mobility makes it suitable for various types of furnaces. It can be applied to various situations, such as transfer ladle degassing, batch or continuous degassing for fixed furnaces, as well as furnaces placed under or on the ground. Degassing medium: 99.996% pure dry nitrogen or argon. Source medium can be supplied by the Gas SupplyCenter. Gas cylinders can be placed on the device and move along.

  

ALP230 Mechanical Parameters

 

1.Degassing arm length and travel can be customized according to furnaces.

2.Built-in battery to drive mobility and lift, equipped with direction and speed controller, forward and backward movement.Batteryreading display, specialized charger, system lockable. Gas cylinders can be moved along with cart.

3.External power supply for degassing.

4.Rotor belt driven, speed from 0~600RPM, data display adjustable, time setting available and one button full-auto mode available.

5.Hydraulic lift with dual chain linked, high safety.

6.Low limit position can be adjusted to adapt furnaces of different depths, or customized as double low limits to fit two or three furnace depths.

7.Equipped with fast-dissemble interface for air cooling motor, spindle and bearing, avoiding over heat to damage the device.

8.Good heat insulation, dry air ventilation for cooling when in uninterrupted online  degassing. High frequency of usage, also need to connect to external air for cooling.

ALP230 Degassing Principles

 

Inject pre-set quantity of inert gas into theALmet through rotating graphite shaft and rotor. The rotor disperses the inert gas into millions of small bubbles, evenly into the melt. Small inert gas bubbles capture hydrogen and nonmetallic impurities, then altogether flow to the melt surface.
